Rally Recce Recorder — Privacy Policy

Summary
Rally Recce Recorder records video and location data on your device, at
your request. Nothing leaves your device unless you use an online feature.
There is no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no sale of data.
Data the app handles
- Video and audio recordings you make during recce, stored on
your device.
- Location data (GPS position, speed, heading) recorded while
you record a stage, stored alongside the video.
- Motion and environment sensor readings (accelerometer,
barometer, ambient light) recorded during a stage to support stage analytics.
- Road books and pace notes you import or create.
Online features
Some features send data to servers operated by IQS Tech
(rrenv.iqstech.com). These are used only when you invoke the feature:
- Road-book processing uploads the road-book file you choose so
it can be converted for use in the app.
- Cloud backup / offload uploads your recordings and stage data
so you can free space on the device and retrieve them later.
- Environment insights uploads a stage's GPS track to compute
sun, shade, and tree-cover analysis for that stage.
Uploaded data is used solely to provide the feature to you. We do not share it
with third parties, use it for advertising, or sell it.
What we don't do
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
- No advertising
- No selling or sharing of personal data
Your choices
Camera, microphone, and location access are controlled through iOS permissions
and can be revoked at any time in Settings. To request deletion of data you have
uploaded to our servers, email
support@iqstech.com
and we will delete it.
